Cybersecurity as Development Infrastructure
Developing economies are rapidly digitizing government, finance, healthcare, education, telecommunications, and public services. The security and resilience of these systems increasingly determine economic opportunity, institutional trust, and national resilience.
When a national payment system, a health record platform, or a digital identity programme fails or is compromised, the consequence is not only technical. It is economic, institutional, and social — and it falls hardest on the people with the least capacity to absorb it.
My work focuses on helping leaders understand and address cybersecurity risks associated with digital transformation, so that the systems a country depends on can be trusted by the people who use them.
